Kamala Harris makes history as Vice President -Elect

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have won the Presidency and Vice Presidency

First off, let’s acknowledge that Kamala Harris’ achievement as Vice President Elect is historic. First Woman to hold that office. First Black Woman (and Person) to hold that office. First Asian American to to hold that office.

The immediate thought on this is how much hope and empowerment her achievement will give to young people (and really all people) about how much they can accomplish in their own lives.

And her election as VP - on the heels of an administration that was active seeking to take opportunities away from people — that makes this historic moment all the more impactful.

Joe Biden — BOOM! Guy was VP for 8 years. Guy was a Senator for decades. He’ll embrace science and scientists and he’ll begin to restore the way the rest of planet Earth views America. We don’t have to worry about him becoming a dictator.

Trump is not going to go quietly (Not a shock) — will he even show up to inauguration?

Trump may try to pull a Grover Cleveland and run for president again

Turns out Mail in voting during a Pandemic was a pretty powerful tool

What was Nevada and Arizona’s deal with slow counting of the votes?

Ohio took an L for first time ever in a Presidential Election

Very interested to see the type of platform the VP role that they’ll create with Harris.

Kamala Harris and the Boston Celtics in one place

Celtics vs. Sixers - playoffs

Have you watched most recent episode of Below Deck Med?

Phillies vs. Red Sox? How are Phillies this season?

Dan likened this season to a death march, why?

Celtics took game 1. Gordon Hayward is out for a month. Celts can’t rebound.

i think this goes 6 and either team could still be the winner

Flyers vs. Montreal - gotta pull for the Fly Guys in that one. Flyers are up 3-1

Bruins somehow are 2-0 since Tuuka Rask Left and lead Carolina 3-1.

You gotta fight fire with fire with people like the current President — think it’s an awesome pick

Before Biden Picked Harris - where did you have Harris ranked on his potential list of running mates? And Why?

Who else did you like from that potential list of running mates?

I was surprised that Harris’ campaign didn’t get more traction during primary season… any thoughts as to why that was the case? (Bernie and Biden seemed to take the air out of the room in a lot of ways, perhaps?)

Tim Kaine was a “milk toast” uninspired pick for Hilary in 2016 — Kamala Harris is NOT THAT for so many reasons.

Here’s a tweet from day 2 on the VP ticket - “Trump inherited the longest economic expansion in history from Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And then, like everything else he inherited, he ran it straight into the ground.”

Kavanaugh Podcast Palooza

What if Kavanaugh isn’t confirmed - which celebrity judge is trump most likely to nominate next? Judge Pirro, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Mills Lane, will it even be a real judge? Maybe he’ll nominated one of the judges from TV Contests? Technically Simon Cowell is a Judge? Howie Mandel is a judge? Kelly Clarkson is a Judge!  Randy Jackson is likely our best bet in terms of a TV Judge being appointed in our outlandish and humble opinion

People have been talking about Lindsay Grahan as Attorney General (once Sessions is fired/ resigns) — i’m now thinking it’s going to be Brett Kavanaugh. How worried should we be about that outlandish theory?

Brett Kavanaugh’s face is already a meme. He’s already been looped into to Pulp Fiction montage for all eternity — proving that the internet is still undefeated. But, some beer company is definitely going to use his “I like beer” montage from the hearings, right?

SCOTUS Hot takes on Anthony Kennedy retirement, plus Celtics, Red Sox & Patriots

Why is nobody upset with Justice Anthony Kennedy for announcing his retirement before the mid-term elections?

I mean you were appointed by Reagan and you’ve been the swing vote on the Supreme Court for decades. GOP already stole Garland’s spot — the timing of this announcement in July instead of December (post election) is dastardly at best.

If corporations are running the nation and the world, instead of nations — then shouldn’t we at least stop choosing the federal gov’t officials we elect based on a “state by state” basis? If Wyoming as a state, with 600,000 people deserves 2 senators — then I propose that cities larger Wyoming deserve 1 senator (in addition to the two their home state gets).
