Kamala Harris makes history as Vice President -Elect
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have won the Presidency and Vice Presidency
First off, let’s acknowledge that Kamala Harris’ achievement as Vice President Elect is historic. First Woman to hold that office. First Black Woman (and Person) to hold that office. First Asian American to to hold that office.
The immediate thought on this is how much hope and empowerment her achievement will give to young people (and really all people) about how much they can accomplish in their own lives.
And her election as VP - on the heels of an administration that was active seeking to take opportunities away from people — that makes this historic moment all the more impactful.
Joe Biden — BOOM! Guy was VP for 8 years. Guy was a Senator for decades. He’ll embrace science and scientists and he’ll begin to restore the way the rest of planet Earth views America. We don’t have to worry about him becoming a dictator.
Trump is not going to go quietly (Not a shock) — will he even show up to inauguration?
Trump may try to pull a Grover Cleveland and run for president again
Turns out Mail in voting during a Pandemic was a pretty powerful tool
What was Nevada and Arizona’s deal with slow counting of the votes?
Ohio took an L for first time ever in a Presidential Election
Very interested to see the type of platform the VP role that they’ll create with Harris.
