Watching the USGA Senior Open — that’s right over 50, men’s golf right now — and it’s more compelling than West World Season 2

I always look forward to speaking with my guests, especially Andrew Patterson, but recapping the final 2 episodes of West World has me stressed out.

Outlandish predictions for what will happen between now and season 3  // I think President Trump will sell Alaska back to Russia

Things we could’ve podcasted about instead of west world over the past 10 weeks - The aforementioned senior PGA US Open, The Triple Crown, The NBA Draft, The fact that we’ve got a full scale border crisis and humanitarian disaster on our southern border. 

We acknowledge that 1) People talk to themselves 2) People talk to their pets, as if their pets can understand human language verbatim 3) people talk to their plants - this show was basically a really complicated version of “what’s the least weird behavior of those three. 

Cuz Westworld has Hosts, created by humans that long to be human/ have free will, Humans that long to be immortal, and the study of human behavior yielding research that humans can’t be hosts because they’re only hardwired to survive, but that makes them un-replicibale, which actually means that our survival instincts are precisely why doctor ford/ delos can’t make us immortal. And my answer is WHO CARES!?!?!!? 

They set up a potentially terrible or potentially interesting season 3 — but essentially none of the stars will be on the show — or they will, but they’ll be rebuilt. 

There’s no struggle that I care about, there’s no remaining charter that I care about — I feel as disappointed and angry as when Jeremy Johnson comes on and talks about Politics and the deep state and the corporate takeover of america — that’s not a good thing HBO

11,927th trial of delores on bernard is the opening

Delores confronts man in black. 

Maeve makes a comeback in a big way with the help of a ton of hosts. 

Delores / man in black / Bernard meet up. william tries to shoot delores but she’s immune - pretty much leaves him for dead

Deleores is with Bernard / but so is Charlotte Hale (well some version of Bernard) 

They are “in the forge” - 4 million guests “lives” are on record.

Here’s the deal: 

Maeve saved her daughter

Ake and many others are “safe in their new world” 

Man in Black is stuck in a cell forever like James Delos (has he been dead this whole time)? 

Charlotte Hale gets shot by her own “host” twin - who says if you want to live for ever, be careful what you wish for

Delores is dead (in terms of Evan Rachel wood version

Bernard is still going to be “at odds with Delores” on the outside

Handsome security guy let’s Charlotte Hale/ new Delores “Out of west world” — she has the “mind database orbs” of 4 or 5 of the key hosts. 

Is this their way of trimming all of the fat? Long way to go.

Season 3 will either be riveting or a spectacular disaster — but somehow, I think I’ll watch. Don’t think I’ll podcast about it — but it might be the train wreck I need to see. 

Overall season 2 was more disjointed and confusing than season 1 (which was a tall feat) and they unfortunately achieved it

Man in Black and his daughter:

If the man in black is such a miserable piece of crap to his family and in the real world — why did he choose the black hat role in west world all the time? 

Why’d he even mess with the white hat role in season 1 ? 

If Man in Black always knew that west world was a data mining expedition, why’d he even partake in it? 

Man in Black’s story of how/ why his wife committed suicide is a long way to go, but at least there’s a tie in — he kills his real life daughter in a fake place because he thinks she’s a fake.

The mother was some type of substance abuser - mainly to make up for the fact that Man in black was the worst. He’s called a virus and a phony. the daughter wants to have the mother committed to a rehab facility.

the mother gets william to spill the beans though. and then kills herself. but that’s a long way to go, to end up shooting his daughter in west world. 

we keep hearing that william is a lie — whats his lie  

Delores and Teddy: Teddy kills himself instead of going to the valley beyond with Delores — that was very surprising - what’s the use of surviving if we end up like them. 

Clementine gets “suped up” with Maeve’s powers to get the hosts to kill each other  — seems to be Charlotte Hale’s plan to destroy the remaining hosts.

Ford and William at a reception in real world - Ford gives him his “data history” and cryptically says “perhaps one more game.” 

Why don’t we like doctor ford more??  Also, he’s using bernard to leave Maeve a message. If Ford and Maeve team up — i like it. Ford talks to Maeve about how he wanted her to escape. she was “his fave” 

Ford basically tells Maeve to keep fighting

Bernard ditches Elsie - cuz of course he did - cuz ford wanted him to kill her. 

Is Westworld good? Even HBO mustn't be sure any more

Is anybody on this show worth rooting for any longer? Bernard no, Delores not really, Charlotte Hale no, Dr. Ford (wildcard), Man in black - prob not - but i can see HBO wanting us to turn in favor of him. All i see is Maeve,  and they may have ruined her character or at least her storyline. 

What do you want to see happen in the next 2 episodes to get you back in? 

Do you even wanted them to succeed? Or would you be secretly bummed if they did? 

Westworld should be a Netflix show - it’s too dense to keep track — and the "binge ability” of netflix would help viewers retain important details.

Man in Black - shot to pieces, crawling towards a street. For an old man — he’s resilient 

Ghost Nation guy  finds Man in Black — he tells man in black “i remember you” — prob not gonna be good for him

Ghost Nation also has Maeve’s Daughter - daughter having flash backs when Maeve was her mom

British writer guy is trying to save Maeve

Ghost Nation dude gives us his origin story - another back story that was nice and went to hell in West World

Ghost Nation guy found the “westworld” map/ center of the maze design — and then they gave the ghost nation guy a “new life” - and made him a warrior. 

Ghost nation dude finds William’s brother in law dude - Logan — can’t believe we’re circling back to pick him up

Ghost Nation guy found the passage to the real world aka Delos “base” 

Tries to leave with his “former wife” from a former “life” - kidnaps her - Washes off his war paint - to win her back - yada yada yada

Ghost Nation dude’s name is Ake — and he tells her that he thinks he found the way out of westworld

Delos stole his lady friend before they could escape  - and they replaced her with someone new — so he lost his lady. We get it HBO it’s a cruel world for these robots

Maeve’s Daughter helped Ghost Nation dude “on his darkest day” — ok so that’s a “loop closer” - which i guess is nice.

Heart Shaped Box on the piano — they love Nirvana on the Piano on this show

Ake lived for 9 years without dying in his narrative - interesting — he also finds all the decommissioned hosts — lost of “weener shots” but he finds his lady Kohana - but she’s decommissioned. 

British writer guy “finds Remorse” for Maeve’s plight. What is the purpose of this show ??? But then - Maeve is “awake and playing possum” 

Ake is spreading the “gospel of the Woke” — the symbol of the man inside the maze — and he and Dr. Ford get to have a “face to face” 

Anthony Hopkins says - Keep watching, for a while longer — is that a plea to us as viewers ????

Who is the “Deathbringer”? Delores / Wyatt ?? 

Man in Black’s Daughter  shows up to barter for her dad. Love how she’s fluent in their robot/ native langue // She’s going full heel turn on the man in black (or so it seems) 

Back to Maeve - in the lab — on the operating table - Charlotte Hale shows up — and it looks like she programed Ake to watch over her daughter - cliffhanger ending - does Maeve die or live??? Tune in for Episode “niner” methinks

Episode 7 June 2, 2018

The episode in which Doctor Ford comes back inside of Bernard - he essentially tells bernard “he’s not up to survival” - kinda like delores telling that to Teddy. 

I’m pissed about how they built Maeve up to bring her down so unceremoniously

Opening Handsome Security guy and Bernard - can picked up by bald “park emergency damage control guy”

Charlotte Hale and the aforementioned crew discover that Bernard has a zillion “droid versions of himself” 

Charlotte Hale essentially water boards Bernard - tries getting info from him

Tactically “badass team” gets absolutely WORKED by Delores’ crew

Dr. Ford makes a reappearance - And explains to Bernard that the guests are the experiments and the hosts are the controls

Ford calls the human mind the last analog device in a digital world

The hosts essentially are there so that humans can become “immortal” 

Dr. Ford promised “bernard a fighting chance and he wants to make good on it”. The Valley Beyond is where they’re all going, why? “isn’t the pleasure of a story discovering the end yourself, Bernard?” 

Man in Black / show down with Maeve and her daughter - she does an unbelievable job at showing the man in black a world of pain — but he lives and she essentially is left for dead again — this is when it turned for me — but episode 8 gave me a little promise

As good as Maeve is with her host control — she sucks against humans. 

System “debugged itself” which is essentially Bernard absorbing Ford’s consciousness

The Delores / Charlotte Hale Face to Face is pretty good

Can’t believe Charlotte and Handsome Security guy (ashley) escape - Especially since all other humans got wrecked  

Delores lets Maeve Live — I think that’s important

bernard’s inner conflict with dr. ford is annoying — and bernard is gonna lead charlotte hale and delos to the Valley Beyond

Episode 6 May 27, 2018

Delores and Bernard flash back to him being frightened about what she might become/ says is she outgrows “this place, what will become of you?”

But Delores is now in charge of Bernard - and she’s “testing him” instead of the other way around — and she uses the line that young william used on his father in law in episode for. This is a test, what are you testing for, fidelity? 

We’re back at the saloon and Delores is playing the piano and “new Teddy walks in” - he’s all business.. She seems more confused than pleased with his transformation. 

Handsome security guy back in the now destroyed base and Charlotte Hale just showed up. Only “a week” has elapsed since the Ford shooting in season one. Charlotte Hale has Abernathy. She also has a “tool to call for help” to Delos. 

The security guys Nail abernathy with nail gun to the operating chair

Next Shogun world - Maeve’s group has murdered all of the shogun’s people - Akane kills herself to mourn her daughters death ???? No…. she might’ve cut out her dead daughter’s heart “WTF?” 

Maeve goes to rescue her friends — but we get a samurai fight instead - fun to get a sword fight - but I don’t care about the characters, so I don’t care about the sword fight 

Good samurai beats bad samurai for those keeping score at home.

Man in Black, his daughter and Laurence are all on horse back — Man in Black thinks that his daughter is a droid - she shoots some ghost nation dudes.

Bernard and Elsie touring the “base/ control center” - heavy exposition in this episode thus far. 

“QA” is fighting “the cradle” in terms of hacking the systems - essentially that’s why the humans can’t get things under control. 

Maeve’s crew is walking towards a mount Fuji type replica. Writer dude and the two tech assistant humans are looking for a portal out of their situation. There’s a Coy Pond and Akane drops her daughter’s heart off in sometime of shine there. The shoguns aren’t going with Maeve — SOOOOO again, why the departure to Shogun World. 

William’s daughter and he at the Campfire. She has potential beef with Charlotte Hale. She definitely is a bit of moral adversary to Man in Black’s thirst for the robot’s fighting back. But, she also said that she shouldn’t have blamed the mom’s death on him. She’s looking to “take him home” and keep him from committing suicide by robot. Man in Black seems to be agreeable to leaving WestWorld for “the beach” to get out. That seems very far fetched. And it is — Man in Black leaves his daughter while she sleeps. 

Elsie and Bernard are at the “Cradle” aka a hive mine / server room of all the Droids and Ford or Bernard put data there. Bernard is having a flash back. The “Ball” Bernard “lifted” from sector 23 is something he’s remembering. And Elsie and Bernard just hooked his brain up to the mainframe. Bernard is now on the “west world entry train” We’re literally back at the first episode first scene

Handsome Security guy runs into new commando unit guy named Coughlin. 

Maeve and the crew escape from Shogun world through a portal back to a cemetery in west world - it’s her old stomping grounds prior to the saloon arch. Maeve is going to find her daughter “alone” without her crew… again much ado about nothing // Maeve finds her old house on the prairie

She’s talking to her daughter (is this girl really here)? Oh man she is — and she’s got a replacement mom. And the Ghost Nation is about to attack them — WHY CAN’T MAEVE CONTROL  GHOST NATION - CAN’T SHE CONTROL ALL OF THEM??? That’s a flaw in the story it seems

The scene freezes except Maeve - Hazmat men come in - and grab Pennyfeather — seems like they’ll use her for the “offering to the gods that Board member / Tessa Thompson talked about with Theresa Cullen

Back to Train ride - Dolores and William chat it up - We learn that William was an avid reader as a kid. 

Juliette - is William’s fiancee and Logan’s sister - William explains that to Delores. He’s really worried about her feelings.

But he seems to be really into the fake life - this story line seems to lend itself to the idea that William becomes the man in black or something of that nature. McPoyle has come a long way.

Board member — Miss Hale, MIss Cullen present to Dr Ford and Berand Lowe. Code review finds “disturbing things in Clementine pennyfeather.

Crazy scene - and she flips out and beats the crap out of the host posing as a human - then she goes to turn on the Hemsdog - and he ices her.

Cullen states that the hosts are now capable of holding grudges and acting on them — looks like they are about to fire Lowe - yup! Hale fires him. 

Anthony Hopkins doesn’t say a word - looks like he wants to.

Back on the train - William seems to be flipping on “west world’s purpose” - seems like Dolores is his “muse” of sorts - Train gets stopped mid journey. Bunch of sheriff types have em ambushed. It’s the confererados 

A dead guy rides out of the train - and El Las shoots the corpse full of explosives - Horse chase !!! The Ghost Nation starts bow and arrowing the confedarados - and it gets pretty gnarly 

Dolores finds the landscape she drew (pretty much the grand canyon) - and beyond it, the “unclaimed territories” 

El Laz is “out” 

Thandie Newton body double wins useless nudity contest again- She’s all up in Felix’s business (Leonardo Nam) - and of course Sylvester is working on Clementine - Lobotomizing her — Something tells me that ends poorly for Ptolmey Slocum - Clementine got “retired”. Sylvester explains his reasoning -  Maeve says surviving is just another loop. She is planning a “jailbreak” from west world - Maeve is gonna kill everyone 

Lowe - explains to Cullen that he knows that she and Hale set him up. Cullen and Lowe go to “Check some things out in the park” - He takes her to Ford’s “family home” in the park. There is a remote diagnostic facility - Ford’s been making his own hosts. BERANARD IS A HOST - And Ford shows up for a little “hot take hot truth” action

Hopkins - goes a little hannibal lecture on Cullen with his peacock speech. Bernard killed Theresa Cullen — and I think Ford is making her (in host form) in the “Chamber” 

HBO Westworld Episode 4 & Episode 5 analysis show - notes

West World Episode 5

Ford is talking to the old cowboy in “lock up” - he tells a story about a greyhound in his childhood - the Dog ran after a cat “running free” and it was beautiful until he caught the cat, killed it and tore it to pieces. Seems to be a metaphor for Ford trying to figure out the crossroads he seems to be at 

Delores in a graveyard - talks to a voice that says “find me” and she says “show me how"

Dolores, William and William’s brother in law are in a “different part of the park” - Sounds like it’s the “hell on earth” piece of the park - got a civil war feel to it.

We also learn that west world is hemorrhaging money and William’s brother in law’s company might buy them out.

Man in Black and Lawrence and Teddy encounter a “boy” — i think that boy is the one Anthony Hopkins has been walking around with. Man in Black Kills Lawrence and hangs him by a tree. Why’d he catch Lawrence’s blood in his water bag.

A couple of “robot medics” are working on Thandi Newton’s body - they are very glib, especially the bearded one. I think he’s in trouble

Teddy gets conned by the man in black to go find Delores 

Dolores has another flash back and then william shows up and she starts talking about “choices, paths, etc” She clearly is breaking the fourth wall between guests and hosts. Dolores appears to “run into another version of herself” in the parade of skeleton people- and now she’s back at “base” confronting Anthony Hopkins 

Hopkins asks Delores if he remembers the man he used to be. Ford/ Hopkins says she should remember Arnold - the man who created her. He calls her mind a “Walled garden” - Dolores hasn’t contacted Arnold in 34 years, since the day he died. Arnold told Delores she was going to help him destroy “this place”. ]

Delores is the only host who was there 34 years ago — Ford admits that he and Delores are not old friends, at all

We then see that Delores does speak to Arnold — he doesn’t know, I didn’t tell him anything… whoa! 

Asian Rehabilitation guy - tries to bring a bird back to life, beaded rehab guy scolds him. Thandi Newton (Maeve) shows up again - Asian guy doesn’t like it, bearded guy chides him for basically being soft.

Confederados - William and his brother in law want a meeting with him. Delores says something weird to the guy the man in black broke out of prison in Episode 4

Delores and the fellas aim to “desperado” some “Union Soldiers”. The heist goes badly and William has to shoot all of the soldiers. 

They get an intro to the Confederados 

Ellen page girl is re-habbing a bartender - and HBO does their obligatory “ween” shot- anyway she goes to inspect the wood cutter who smashed his own brain in. She’s trying to reason out why he freaked out. She notices something in his hand / arm. She finds a laser based apparatus in his arm - she goes to “Lowe” - and says that someone has been using the hosts to smuggle data out of the park.

We then go back to a gold colored host  orgy park with William and Delores and the crew - chilling in the middle of it 

Brother in law or William is “Logan” - gotta get that to stick. They have some work issues that go beyond this field trip. William an an EVP 

Delores walks around the mansion and finds a stevie nicks esque “card dealer — who then turns back into another version of delores - She tells herself “follow the maze and perhaps you’re unraveling - Delores seems to she see what she is “internally” 

Delores then happens upon “Slim’s body” being filled with Nitrogen - Lazlo “is double crossing the confederados - Delores makes out with William - Logan is getting beat up by guys, and William leaves him to get beaten 

Delores then shoots every confederado in cold blood to save william - she imagined a story where she didn’t have to be the damsel. Seems like she’s about to turn into a legit bad mamajama  

They escape on a train only to Find Lazlo with a gun - and Delores is ready to blow the train to smithereens — Lazlo is “lawrence” they are the same guy in a space time optimum type set up it seems 

The Maze is on the coffin in the train and Delores says, “I”m coming” 

Anthony Hopkins - is in the park and he’s about to drink with Teddy and the Man in Black / face to face 

Man in Black wants to find the center of the maze - seems like the “park management” created man in black to mess with Dr. Ford’s creation. 

Ford basically greenlight’s the Man in Black’s quest 

Back lab the  technician goes back to his “bird” fixing quest. The bird comes back to life and flies away, which makes the programmer happy. Maeve awakens catches the bird, calls the technician “Felix” and says, it’s time you and I had a chat. So Thandi Newton and Evan Rachel Wood’s characters  are about to mess stuff up in a big way 

West World Episode 4 Notes 

Delores is talking to Bernard Lowe - she has “feelings tied to memories now” Lowe - she’s adapting parts of her script to express new feelings. She’s questions if these thoughts are “wrong”. 

Lowe aks her what she wants - she doesn’t know but she feels that there’s something wrong with “this world” or that perhaps she’s losing her mind. Lowe gives her a “game/ secret” - called the Maze - the goal is to find the center- and maybe she can be free. She “thinks she wants to be free” 

Next scene Delores wants up back in west world with William (jimmie poole) 

Player piano - what is it playing this time? Can’t make it out 

Pennyfeather is talking to Maeve in the Saloon - Maeve is having a flash back to a shooting / massacre - then the Hazmat team comes and she seems to be conscious during it — but it’s a flash back to a previous iteration and she’s almost “day dreaming” 

Maeve draws a pic of the Hazmat suited man - and then she finds a stash of several pics of them from what must be previous iterations.

Next scene - The host who smashed his own head in has COO lady and Handsome security guys and fake ellen page girl at at odds. COO lady’s team will conduct the investigation - Lowe also mentions that the carving is not of “Orion” because there are 4 stars in the belt (what does the mean)

Back with William, Delores, and sociopathic brother in-law - seems like these two are “investors in west world’s parent company” 

Next scene- Man in Black and Lawrence out in the woods killing snakes - they happen upon a naked tattooed lady. The lady’s crew ambushes them. Man in black kills two of them to free up two positions for he and lawrence on this snake faced tattoo lady’s crew

Back  at Head quarters, they realize that Delores is “way off script” 

Delores is talking to Lawrence’s daughter and she seems to remember a lot of things — A sheriff gets sent to bring Delores “back” — William gets her out of that — Delores was having a flash back to Lawrence’s daughter - but that girl know A LOT!!!

Meanwhile tattoo faced lady kills two more dudes — she seems to be Man in Black’s equal or perhaps “greater”. 

Meanwhile again: Delores is really embracing this cognizance thing - and just like that she’s remembering Hazmat crews as well - like Maeve did 

Ed Harris confirms he’s on “vacation” so not a host — two guests try to thank him for his “foundation work” and he tells them to not ruin his vacation 

Ed Harris talks to Tattoo lady - about Dying - and about the creator Arnold dying in the park. He’s there to “honor his legacy”  — Man in Black is going to break some dudes out of jail in exchange for her tattoo origin story 

We learn that lawrence is the most wanted man in 3 “counties” from the sheriff at the jail 

Man in Black is speaking with some “notorious bandit dude’ in jail - this guys seems pretty “heavy in terms” of what’ll happen — Hemdog approves Ed Harris’ “pyro effect request” and he buts “Hector” our of jail — and then they save Lawrence 

Tattoo lady - her family was killed and she hunts down those who did it and paints her face with the blood of those who did it. And that leads us back to “Wyatt” as the man who led that group of killers. 

Next scene - Maeve sees a Hazmat action figure - and we learn that it’s an idol of their “religion” 

Back in West World - Lowe bones the COO lady — She’s stressed. The Board is visiting soon and she needs to talk to Anthony Hopkins. She goes into West World to see Dr. Ford. They are discussing his new narrative. Ford imagined at the beginning that things would be balanced. there were 100 hopeful story lines, but no one took it.

Ford knows about COO lady’s affair with bernard. He can “stop time” in terms of the Hosts. He asks here to not get in his way. He says that no everything about their hosts and guests. He says he’s “not the sentimental type” — seems like he’s wrecking the world 

Delores and William are at the “shoot out” / stakeout - They “win” as only guests can 

Lawrence and Man in Black are heading towards Wyatt — Teddy is tied to a tree and left for dead with Buzzards — poor teddy (even man in black sees the irony in it being teddy”)

William an his brother in law decide to go “black hat” on their narrative to pick up another. 

Hector and his crew role into town and start the “shooting up town” narrative — just dawned on me they were in a previous episode in this scene. Maeve grabs Hector for some questioning  - she wants to answers on Hazmat man - hector calls him the “man who walks between worlds” 

Maeve looks to stab herself - she finds remains of a bullet and realizes she “not crazy and that non of this matters”

Ed Harris character - feels like he's gonna be the "glitch in the matrix guy" - add in dan O'Brien /Reddit theory 

Dolores - Evan Rachel Wood character - found it interesting at episode one end that she is the original "host"

First impression - this is like Bill murrays ground hog day crossed w the matrix. Or if we are keeping this all in the will smith category - this is like i robot crossed with wild Wild West but with zero comedic flair (which I'm cool with) 

I'm thinking for the ep 1 & 2 show - we should prob cover the following

Main Character names (and actor who plays them/ what else he or she has been in) should force us to keep people straight 

Ep 2 Running (scene by scene notes) 

The beginning is kind of like 3D printer/ Skeletal system erotica — with a wild west theme 

Opening Scene narrator tells Doloros to wake up - Asks her if she remembers

McPoyal - is becoming a “new visitor” - Seems like Epcot Center - His name is William (McPoyal’s real life name is JImmi Simpson) - He’s picking out attire for his western adventure 

The main guy (builder) and his lady lieutenant are talking about Abernathy (dolores dad) speaking about his glitch (he saw a picture from the “outside”. 

Delores is “back in town” in the scene - She’s talking to Thandi Newton who plays “Maeve and she seems to remember for the “violent delights have violent ends” conversation with her dad

Ed Harris Shows up to ominous theme music - shoots everyone in the sheriff’s crew cuz he’s a guest. 

The player piano in the brothel aka the Mariposa Saloon plays modern songs - like sound garden (Black Hole Sun), rolling stones (Paint it Black) and Radiohead (No surprises)  - nice touch — intriguing touch… ANY THEORIES ????  The songs are played by composer Ramin Djawadi (who also scores game of thrones) the idea came from Jonathan Nolan who is the Show runner / co -creator 

Thandi Newton is now “remembering things” 

Anthony Hopkins - makes the scene and chats about witchcraft and playing god 

Thandi Newton is having crazy flashbacks - they are going to decommission her in the morning 

William’s travel buddy (McPoyals buddy)  -aka the Ben Barmes as the character Logan- seems like a bit of a sociopath 

Speaking of sociopaths, the british accent “writer guy” is very high strung 

Anthony Hopkins is “IN THE PARK” talking to a little boy 

Ed Harris brings “Lawrence” to his “hometown” and his family - and he offs stuff up 

the little girl says the maze isn’t meant of him — and then she tells him where to go to find it

The lady who is like the COO stops by Bernard Lowe’s ” apt - they make out - need his name 

The builder girl goes to evaluate Thandi Newton (Is Ellen Page that builder girl) HOLY COW! 

The cowboy guy -  is back - the “hero who has with delores” - gets light up by a guest for no reason at the bar

Thandi Newton has full flash back of a grisly scalping memory with Natives - but now it’s Ed Harris 

She wakes up on the operating table and (her name is Maeve) - she breaks out of the operating room with an opened up abdomen - She sees the entire operation 

Dolores wakes up and goes out side on her parents property / Starts digging and finds a big old handgun

The British Guy “Mr Sizemore” is his name / script writer “pitches” a new segment/adventure - But anthony hopkins says “NO” - argues for subtlety 

Looks like Sir Anthony is going to bring “religion/ christianity” into the “park” as a the new wrinkle 

The previews for “coming weeks” look SICK !

Dennis Box is drinking listening to two other cops talk abut TV show ideas, he leaves bar and goes home to review videos of surveillance

Andrea is looking behind her like she might be getting followed - Now we are focusing more on Andrea through Box’s eyes

Chandra is questioning Trevor — and then Dwayne Reed, who is back in jail for another break in

Dwayne Reed has a lot of potential to have motivation for this crime

Helen isn’t questioning Trevor nor Dwayne - interesting

The Undertaker - is now going on the stand — His name is “Day” - his wife got a restraining order against him and called 911 on him

Chandra does a good job examining him

And now we’re back at the gym with Don, and with John Stone - Stone drags him in an alley - next scene, John Stone is giving Don the finger in the security line

Don takes the witness stand - Don admits — that Andrea was outraged about her mother Evelyn’s will giving him half. He also got fired from Equinox for being a creep and he had two restraining orders

He filed a claim in suragotes court for Andrea’s trustfund - at 8am the monday after the saturday night she died and buried her 2 days later

Box is going back through film - Andrea had a fight with some one on camera at a coffee shop and he then appears to following her

Nas is cutting up Cocaine in jail and doing some as well

Chandra and Stone discuss calling Nas to the stand - Stone is very much against it — She asks Nas to testify and he seems to ask for her to help him bring drugs or something into Rikers Island. and it turns out that he asks her for condoms. And now she’s doing some type of Drug deal on CAMERA (unknowingly)  - What is she doing??????????????? My guess is that it’s adrenal or something — THIS IS NUTS

Box is still on this case - running credit cards of people at Locanda night spot the night of andrea’s death

Nas takes the stand — he recants the evening with Andrea

Helen goes for the cross examination - she goes after his character pretty hard. Nas shouldn’t have taken the stand — BONE HEAD MOVE — Helen shreds him

She then quotes Muhammad  to end her speech - she crushes him and then he says “I don’t know” when asked on last time if her killed Andrea. Nas may have “thrown” his on testimony to stay in Jail. 

Stone tells Chandra that she just “convicted” Nas

Stone is back at the Pet Shelter - Bryan Burton - he’s returning the cat. Nas gets a NECK TATOO - what the heck is he doing — he’s blowing his freedom

Box goes back into work - uncovers Ray Halle’s info/ phone number - Box is at the Golf Course - he couldn’t look more out of place

He the appears to be playing slots in Atlantic City - but he’s actually tailing Ray Halle - he apparently beat up a prostitute — he’s also got a gambling issue, and a picture of her on vacation.

Damn!!!! Ray - Freddy and Nas are recruiting a new dude — Nas has some juice in Rikers now

Box breaks it down for Helen — she’s not impressed. Freddy gets a dvd of film from a guard

Stone received a “package” it’s the CD/ DVD — he plays it — it’s Chandra kissing Nas — this is bananas — times a million

Stone goes to see Nas to convince him to let him go public with the DVD

The Judge basically tells Chandra she’s done — makes John Stone the lead attorney - Stone doesn’t want it - There’s snow on ground but Box was golfing - odd

Stone thinks that Box - sent the DVD to him and asks him how it went

Allison Crowe comes back to basically fire Chandra - damn

This show is taking everyone down with it - Helen paints Nas’ lack of memory as a “redaction” for self-preservation. Box gets up and walks out during Helen’s closing arguments

I think Helen just realized that Nas’ knife wasn’t the murder weapon

Stone’s exema is coming back — he’s a basket case - he’s having a panic attack — this is bad news - he goes to emergency room  - Looking grim for Nas

Stone is back in White Gloves giving his speech / closing statement — he’s doing a good job. Talks about the “Rush to Judgement” and about his right to be presumed innocent. That speech is gonna get Turturro an Emmy nomination

There is no verdict from the Jury / Nas has to go back to Rikers/ Stone goes back to Pharmacy/ Chandra goes back to her law firm to pack her desk- Stone is back at Exema anonymous, Nas is cutting up Coke. Freddy give Nas the “I care about you speech” - Tells Nas he smells like “innocence” - calls him the real deal. Calls him a unicorn

They are back in Court and Appear to have a verdict - Nope they are “Deadlocked” — and the judge is heavy fisting the foreman to keep deliberating - the judge dismisses that jury

Helen declines a re-trial - Nas is free - Chandra leaves - Box and Helen exchange a glance - Nas is packing in prison - Freddy isn’t in his room he’s boing - Nas gives him one last look. Freddy gives Nas his “call of the wild’ book - Nas leaves jail. His dad picks him up - 

Box joins NYU campus police — Helen tells Box “over an E-cig” that she wants to go after Ray Halle. 

Nas’ family home is for sale - family dinner is a tad awkward  - has a tough talk with his mom- he “goes out” and he’s meeting with Stone. Nas gives a bad look when his buddy Amir walks into the same place. Stone is back on subway with the chop stick and sandals on. 

Nas is buying drugs on the street. Nas goes back to the “beach” aka the Hudson River, and is free basing - that’s tough to see he remembers Andrea - Stone is home and gets a call for more perinct dwellers and he then sees an ASPCA commercial with a kitten oh boy — Stone is back on the case and Andrea’s cat is back in the Apt

Pretty much a cliff hangar ending in terms of Andrea’s killer and Nas’ future, etc — really interesting series
