Tiger King Podcast
Tiger King
Joe Exotic - starts off that you hate him, by episode 3 you like him, by episode 5 he’s kind of in the middle, episode 7 it’s just sad and you want it to end.
Essentially cult leader. Pro-Guns, Pro-Big Cats, Anti Carole, Loves country (and pretending he’s a singing), love tigers, some of what he does means he’s got a heart of gold (like employing ex-cons, but at the end of the day megalomaniac with a meth problem is how he’d be cast as a movie character.
Dude in Charleston - starts off like a middle ground between Joe and Carole from Big Cat rescue. Kind of more successful than Joe, but seems to agree with Joe about Carole. They we learn he’s basically a more successful cult leader than Joe and that he’s got multiple spouses — and i think a lot of bad stuff has gone down for him since the documentary ended.
Carole Baskin- start off that you like her, by episode 3 you’re like “wait did she kill her husband”, by episode 4 you’re like she definitely killed her husband, changed his will, ripped off his kids, likely bribed officials to look the other way, is using her money to bankrupt Joe and the other Big Cat owners out there, and doing it all with a smile on her face
The dude Jeff (who bails out Joe Exotic) a con man who realizes that baby tigers are gold if you’re a “swinger”.
The fact that all of the Tiger Themed Country Song Music Videos are getting so much action right now - is an nod to Joe’s artistic flair.
“I Saw A Tiger” is about as pure as it gets.
“Here Kitty Kitty” is the “diss track” we’ve been waiting for since the Jay-Z vs. Nas beef was squashed. The Carole Baskin Lookalike in that video is spot on, too.
The actual singers are Danny Clinton and Vince Johnson btw.
Joe Exotic is the Milli Vanilli or 2020 and created the new sub genre Tiger Themed Country Music.
