Ultimate Tailgate Party Playlist

Ultimate Tailgate Play list  from Parking Lot Carl

This has a heavy “northeastern US” influence and heavy Pro-football influence

College Football and College Baseball (for southerners) is clearly going to be a lot more country influenced

This original playlist has some songs that I think are perfect for Eagles Games, but not say Patriots Games or New York Giants games. (So I made a couple of substitutes)

Replace “Fly like an Eagle” with Outkast’s “Bombs over Baghdad”

Replace “Dropkick Murphy’s” Barroom hero with “I’m Shipping Up to Boston”

We also need a Ballard and/or Power Ballard for comedic irony purposes — I’m Thinking “Oh Sheri” By Steve Perry — or perhaps a better Choice is “Unforgiven" by Metallica

And I need “Symphony of Distraction” by Megadeth on here.

I need “One More Time” by Daft Punk

We gotta have “Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson

We gotta have some Tribe called quest - so I’m going with “Award Tour”

Love the “Everybody’s working for the weekend” call - how about “Smells Like Teen Spirit” right after it

“Nuttin but a G thing” — and depending on the time of year — “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince

Any song from RHCP “Californcation” and most early “U2” hits also are tailgate worthy

Sprinkle in some Dave Matthews any time too.

The rocker and beer run are off my personal list
